MAME offers grants available to member teachers. In past years, the MAME budget has included an allocation of $1,000 per year awarded in grants to teachers. Details for application are publicized in the Nuances newsletter.
Past applications have been awarded for a Summer Group Piano Program and continuing education through Piano Safari. Members interested in attending WMTA State Meetings, MTNA National Meetings, continuing advancement in their professional and / or pursuit of activities and initiatives that enrich their private practice are encouraged to apply.
A committee of MAME members review applications. Recipients are encouraged to share an in-person, video, or Nuances article for MAME members as a means of building community and awareness of opportunities.
