This is a new opportunity for enthusiastic young students who could use an opportunity for more growth. The Rising Stars recital is available to students in grades 1-4 who participated in the March district auditions track (D2 or Reg) and earned a 5 on each piece, performing a maximum of 2 pieces (not to exceed 3 minutes total per student). No recital will last longer than 45 minutes due to the ages of students involved, and we may have two recitals depending on need. Qualifying students will be notified within two days after district auditions with a very quick turnaround, so teachers need to identify which of their students might be interested when signing up for district auditions.
The recital(s) will take place on April 12, 2026 at Studio Share Madison at 2:00pm (& 3:30pm if an additional recital is necessary).
Cost: $15/student of MAME teachers.
